Start of the new decade got me (like everybody else) quite reflective. Looking back at what’s been experienced, done, achieved and what’s still to come. Overall feeling? Very exciting stuff.

The other day my friend asked me about my thoughts on 2019. I’ve never really done it as I’m always more excited for what’s to come than dwell in the past, but when I took a moment to reflect on this year come by, I’ve realised it was a pretty damn good one.

This post has been 2 years in the making. Why? Because it's hard, because what will people think,  because no-one cares, because what if my family reads it and it will just make them sad, because what if people will be mean and it will just make me sad…

So that’s a first: I’ve written a very personal post. There won’t be any travel guide here, no pictures of my cute dog and not even a recipe. Just me, myself and my opinion on something.

I have always been repelled by doing things how they should be done. If you’re following a recipe step by step there is no room left for creativity and excellence that comes with it.

August was all about holidays, travelling and sun. That's it. From Paris to Tokyo...

With the big trip coming up (we're leaving for Japan today!) July was all about enjoying summer in Paris.
